EMOTIONAL HEALING TESTIMONIAL WITH A WORD OF KNOWLEDGE: RAGGEDY ANN DOLLS

I sat in a booth at a Zaza Cuban Cafe with a friend. A lady came and sat behind us. As I looked at her, suddenly, I heard (not in an audible voice!) Holy Spirit said three words, “Raggedy Ann dolls.” I know what they are. I used to have one of those dolls myself.

What I didn’t know is that God was about to bring emotional healing and freedom, a testimonial with Raggedy Ann dolls. Wow!

Our booth was next to the exit door. As the lady (let’s change her name to Jennifer for privacy) was leaving. She stopped before us and said, “You seem very familiar. Do we know each other?”

We tried to figure out if we did. Jennifer was a realtor, and my friend was also a realtor. But still, we couldn't come up with anything that confirmed we knew each other.

I asked Jennifer if “Raggedy Ann dolls” meant anything to her. She said yes. Jennifer remembered she had three of those dolls. Then, the Lord said to tell her that one of her Raggedy Ann dolls had gone missing. Then Jennifer said that she gave one doll to one of her daughters and another one to her other daughter. But she didn’t know what happened to the third. She was stunned, and so was I! A Word of Knowledge opened her heart to talk.

I told her that God had shown me that she had been abused by her husband and his family. And that she was better off forgiving them so that her heart and body could heal. She then mentioned she had severe arthritis and several other disorders.

She sat down with us and told us her story. She said she was a Christian. Her husband had died recently. And, his family had been very abusive to her. Jennifer said she hated them.

I explained what forgiveness is and reminded her that God forgave her. She realized that she had to forgive them. I told her that she must give them a gift they don't deserve—forgiveness.

I lead her into a prayer. She forgave them. After finishing the prayer, she said she felt like something had left her. She felt very light and happy and had not felt like that in many years.

She looked very different. Wow! Holy Spirit set Jennifer free. To God, we give all the glory! Here is another moment God used to set free a woman from unforgiveness, hate, and bitterness. Plus, she said, she was leaving feeling so light and she had not feel like that in years.

God is so good. He can change a life in a moment!
